Partnership between Prima Network and PinnacleSports.com Brings Poker to the Masses
PinnacleSports.com, the world’s largest sports betting website, is the latest gambling firm to enter the ever expanding world of online poker. In a recent announcement, Simon Noble of PinnacleSports.com confirmed that the sports betting site has signed a deal with the Prima Network and will launch its own poker room in early 2006. The Prima Network, commonly recognized as the world’s leading poker network, was the 2005 recipient of Gambling Online Magazine’s Top Gaming Portal award. The deal between the two companies has been widely anticipated by industry analysts and gambling fans due to PinnacleSport.com’s strong presence in over 80 countries. Simon Nobel.of PinnacleSports.com has stated that the decision to sign with the Prima Network was based on the network’s strong reputation for reliability. “The Prima Network has a proven track record of integrating card rooms into other online operations quickly and efficiently – an attribute that was essential to launching our new poker site,” Nobel said. Due to high levels of competition in the poker industry, many new poker sites face an uphill battle in attracting enough players to their sites to generate large prize pools. The Prima Network provides an undeniable advantage to its subscribers and PinnacleSports.com’s new poker site will be the 18th card room to join in the last year. The deal gives the new site access to one of the largest databases of online poker players worldwide, along with access to Microgaming software featuring a wide range of poker games catering for all levels. The Prima Network will also provide full marketing support for the new site plus weekly prize pools designed to attract new poker fans while retaining current ones. The Prima Network’s CEO Roger Raatgever also commented enthusiastically on the deal. "It's a great opportunity for us to be working with PinnacleSports.com,” Raatgever said. “The Prima Network is in tune with sportsbooks, recognizing the instant value of providing online poker to their wagering customers. We offer unique tournaments and serious prize pools that are easily marketed to potential players."
