The 2007 Spring Poker Festival is expected to generate substantial interest in the European gambling world when the event begins on March 7 in Vienna. A prize pool of 900,000 Euro will attract some of the international scene's best players who will compete alongside online poker players who will qualify for the tournament at several popular poker sites. The main event will feature a buy-in of $4,200 with the grand final being played out on March 18.

 A second event fast approaching on the European poker calendar is the East vs West European Challenge. The competition will be televised across the continent and will feature a total prize pool of 100,000 Euro.
