The inaugural Hispanic Gaming Summit, in association with Ascend Media Gaming Group, will take place on July 18 in Las Vegas at the prestigious Paris Casino just days before the Third Annual Casino Marketing Conference.
The Summit, which will be co-presented by Harrison and Montoya Associates, will address the increasing involvement of the U.S. Hispanic community in the gambling industry, and will highlight the opportunities, responsibilities and rewards associated with successful relationship-building.
Californian-based firm Harrison & Montoya Associates is no stranger to the world of gambling. Its head Charles Harrison has extensive experience in the gaming industry and with the Hispanic market. Harrison is a former managing director for the North American operations of Spanish gaming firm CIRSA/UNIDESA. His partner Martha Montoya is also highly regarded in the Hispanic community and was included in a Hispanic Business magazine feature last year on the community’s 100 most influential leaders.
Among the topics presented at the conference will be effective marketing schemes designed specifically for Hispanic gamblers. Demographics and the cultural aspects of gambling will also be discussed, along with ways in which to build mutually rewarding relationships between gambling operators and the Hispanic community.
