Marketing staff at Titan Poker have hit upon what they believe is a sure-fire way to attract male American college students to the game of poker. Campusfood, a firm operating a network of restaurants across the country, have teamed up with Titan Poker to offer poker fans the ability to order food online with redeemable coupons.
Following the results of a University of Pennsylvania survey last year which discovered that over 26 percent of male American college students participate in the game of poker, poker companies have been eager to tap into this previously untargeted market. Now with Titan Poker’s new promotion, the online poker firm is hoping to have hit upon a winner.

Under the scheme, students that sign up at Titan Poker by entering a special bonus code provided by Campusfood will be included in a series of exclusive online poker tournaments. The winners will then receive coupons known as Campusfood Cash, which can be redeemed at a network of nationwide restaurants participating in the scheme. The final prize, which will be decided when the last round of the tournament takes place on April 23, will give the lucky winner a total of $20,000 in free meals.

The scheme is being heavily promoted on college campuses throughout the country. The March Madness tournaments at Titan Poker’s website specifically targets college students and gives poker fans the chance to register to represent their school in no less than 64 qualifying tournaments. In addition to CampusFood coupons, winners who reach the final stages of the competition will also be eligible to win jackets, championship jewelry, laptop computers and iPod devices.
