United Kingdom to Welcome Webcam Roulette
Thomas von Stenglin, chief executive officer of German gambling firm Casino Wiesbaden, has announced this week that British gambling fans will soon be able to enjoy popular roulette via the Frankfurt-based firm. Fans in the UK will soon be able to access roulette via webcam at the casino's site and will be able to play the game live from their own homes. According to Stenglin, Casino Wiesbaden is excited to welcome UK fans to the German site. “Everything about our online roulette is real!” Stenglin said. “The only difference is that the player is sitting at home at his or her PC instead of being here at the Casino's gaming table."
The latest technology will enable British fans who register with Casino Wiesbaden to place wagers on the roulette table via their computer. Two webcams will provide them with live roulette action. Games will be played at two tables and will commence at 11.00am daily and run until 3.00am local time. Currently Casino Wiesbaden is the only state-controlled gambling firm providing online roulette via webcam. However, if roulette proves a hit with UK fans, there may soon be other firms offering similar services.
