Bet Internet Appoints New Financial Controller
Damon Waddington has been appointed as sports betting firm Bet Internet’s new financial controller, according to a recent public statement. Bet Internet, based on the Isle of Man chose Waddington from a list of highly experienced candidates to join its senior management team. The firm’s managing director, Garry Knowles, announced the news enthusiastically. "I am delighted that Damon has joined Betinternet.com as our Financial Controller,” Knowles said. “With his wealth of financial experience, I expect him to be a key player in supporting the future development of both our sports book and pari-mutual operations.” Waddington relocated from London to the Isle of Man in 1997 after qualifying as a chartered account the year before. He previously held the position of Financial Controller with a subsidiary of Fortis Bank, Mees Pierson Intertrust.
