CEO of FUN Technologies, Lorne Abony is understandably enthusiastic about his company’s latest acquisition. The Canadian gaming firm has recently paid $23 million to take over its main competitor, World Winner.com – a decision Abony says was prompted by FUN Technology’s desire to strengthen its position in the increasingly competitive casual skill gaming industry.
“The acquisition of World Winner is a significant strategic achievement for FUN Technologies,” Abony said in a recent statement. “World Winner was until now our largest competitor and by consolidating the two businesses we will achieve significant operating efficiencies, leverage and synergies.”

World Winner's products will continue for the time being using the company’s recognizable branding, but casino fans will soon notice branding changes in line with FUN Technology’s subsidiary SkillJam Gaming.
President and CEO of World Winner, Stephen Killeen has stated that the company is proud to be a partner in the FUN Technology deal. “The consolidation of the two organizations will result in a global skill-gaming powerhouse” Killeen has predicted.
Currently casino players play an average of 350,000 games on World Winner’s site. The gaming firm reported total annual revenue of $10.67 million dollars which was generated from its 14 million registered members.
