Online Poker Tournament Earns Teenager One Hundred Grand
19-year-old ‘Soderlind’ is suddenly a great deal richer than most Swedish teenagers. The online poker fan’s decision to sign up through online poker portal Pokerlistings to compete in Noble Poker’s Fort Knox Sit N’Go Jackpot promotion paid off when the youngster pocketed $100,000 grand in winnings. Soderlind beat off his determined rivals after winning six final consecutive tables to grab the grand prize of $100,000. The young Swede is the first poker player to be awarded the total prize since Noble Poker launched its Sit N’Go competition last year. The poker site also hosts the Maui and Rio Progressive Jackpot competitions. Competitors in the Maui tournament can expect a total grand prize of $15,000, while the Rio tournament winner receives $25,000.
