3.6 Million Euro on Offer at 2007 National Poker League
This year's National Poker League Circuit Tour is expected to attract even more top poker players than usual following the announcement that a prize pool totaling 3.6 million Euro will be on offer at the event. In addition, extensive television coverage across European countries is planned, guaranteeing the tournament receives true international prominence. The event kicks off at the Paris Open at the Cercle Gaillor on May 13 and concludes on May 22. During that time, top players, last year's champs and sponsors will mingle with celebrities at the 4000 Euro buy-in event. A further 200 Euro is being charged for player registration. Television coverage will include six screenings of one hour in duration each to be filmed by France's TF1, CBS TV Station Groups, Eurosport, TFV Monte Carlo, WGN Superstation, and Jet Sports. Following the Paris Open, further stops on the 2007 National Poker League agenda include the U.K. Open scheduled for August, the Asia Open in October and November's Vegas Open.
