Yousefzadeh Crowed New Champ at Atlantic City
Regulars on the poker circuit were on the edges of their seats in the Atlantic City World Series of Poker Circuit title match. The top prize of $488,828 was awarded to jewelery store owner Danny Yousefzadeh who won the coveted title after a three hour battle with opponent John McMahon. McMahon made the final playing in his first ever Atlantic City tournament and just lost to the 40-year-old New Yorker. Yousefzadeh afterwards praised his opponent for the exciting match held at Caesars Casino, referring to his unpredictable playing style. For this troubles, McMahon received a check for $268 858 and a valuable experience playing in the final. The remaining four top players also received checks for six figure sums.
