Rival Gaming, one of the newest players on the online casino software stage, are using the Global Interactive Gaming Summit and Expo (GIGSE) scheduled for May 16-18 at Montreal’s Palais des Congres, to launch a special product range aimed specifically for Mac users.
According to Rival Gaming, i-Slots is the latest update on classic slots games for Mac users, but also offers a few extras including evolving storylines, animated video clips and bonus mini-games.
The games were recently launched at four online casinos for Mac users owned and operated by The 400 Group in Curacao. Rival is expecting interest in the new product to outweigh those of other software developers. A distinct advantage Rival has over its competitors is that all the firm’s software is fully downloadable to Windows and AppleMac - a development that gives Rival licensees access to an estimated 15 million Mac users worldwide.
A second advantage is Rival’s ability to allow operators to access reports via Blackberry, giving them wireless access to casino data regardless of their geographical location.

Commenting on i-Slot’s ability to draw the crowds at GIGSE, Ken McCormack, Rival’s VP of Corporate Marketing says: “People are going to have to see it to believe it. We’re talking about something that not only makes playing a single game far more entertaining - but one that’s going to keep players coming back for more.”
McCormack’s comments have been echoed by the firm’s managing director, Scott Giesbrecht. “Many software developers have been claiming that their games are interactive,” he said. “But when we looked at slots, we saw that we had a real opportunity to offer players something that was far more captivating - and more fun - than anything they’d ever seen.”
