Successful hip hop artists, Ja Rule, opened his new online poker site this week. Dubbed “Stars On Poker.com” the site opened for business with a $500,000 freeroll.
The new online card room offers the latest in multiplayer poker games such as Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and 7 Card Stud. Fans of the more unusual games can also expect to find Chinese Poker, Panguigne, and Big 2 on Ja Rule’s site.
Along with the latest games, Stars On Poker.com also offers a little something for hip hop fans. A link on the site directing traffic to Ja Rule's website exists; together with an online duke box upon which fans can select some of the recording artist’s most popular tracks. Hip hop merchandise can also be found at Ja Rule’s online store.

Stars on Poker.com belongs to the Action Poker Network, which also powers popular poker venues like ActionPoker.com and TigerGaming.com. The network is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, and the proprietary online gaming software is certified by the fully independent iTech Labs.
