Tell Poker has this week joined the ranks of poker operators belonging to the Microgaming Poker Network. In an attempt to boost membership, the poker site is offering new players the chance to become shareholders in the company. 20 percent of shares will be given away by Tell Poker during its first one and a half years of operation, along with 40 percent of its total revenue.

According to one of Tell Poker’s founders, Anders Ericcson, the company’s policy of offering shares to players for their loyalty is only fair. “We think it’s fair that those players generating growth and value for Tell Poker, should be shareholders in the company,” Ericsson said, pointing out that Tell Poker also intends to offer a valuable affiliate program to reward regular members for referring friends to the site.

Tell Poker will also offer players a chance to join a professional poker team comprised of poker professionals Jonas Norrman and Andreas Hurtig. The team will participate in a series of international tournaments to be sponsored by Tell Poker. Online casino fans can apply to join the team by filling in an online application form at the Tell Poker site and the winners will be expected to demonstrate their poker skills at the European Poker Tournament in Barcelona in September.

Tell Poker is based in Malta and Curacao, The Netherlands Antilles and licensed in Curacao. The firm’s decision to join the Microgaming network came after the online casino software provider announced that it has paid out over $199 million from its 40 sites since it was founded three years ago. The network is commonly regarded as one of the most well-known and aggressive poker networks available and offers players all the latest poker action. It also adheres to eCOGRA fair gaming standards, offering enhanced player protection at its member sites.

Tell Poker’s co-founder Mathias Ringblom has said that the firm is “very happy to be a part of the Microgaming network, offering thousands of players a huge variety of poker games and many satellites to the biggest tournaments around the world.”
