Chartwell Games Farewells Richardson
CEO Lee Richardson will be leaving Chartwell Games later this year, according to a statement from the European subsidiary of Chartwell Technology. The news makes Richardson the second senior executive in recent months to decline a relocation request.
Chartwell Games has announced plans to relocate its marketing office and European headquarters from the UK to Malta. Richardson will remain one of the firm's major shareholders but has decided not to leave the UK at this time.
The news was reported first by eGaming Review this week. Earlier this year, Cryptologic CEO Lewis Rose declined to move to Dublin after his company announced plans to relocate from Toronto. He was subsequently replaced by Javaid Aziz.
