Good News for Belgian Skill Gaming Fans
One of Belgium's leading newspapers will soon be providing skill gaming thanks to a deal signed with gaming firm GamArena AB. Het Nieuwsblad's new online gaming site will offer fans the chance to play 8-Ball Pool, Solitaire, Golf Hole-in-One and Backgammon.
The new site is due for completion in May and will be known as Nieuwsblad.be, i keeping with the newspaper's branding. The two companies will be focusing on further growth providing support and peer-to-peer content. According to the Managing Director of Nieuwsblad.be, Patrick Salien, the company was highly impressed by GamArena's commitment to the deal. “Games will become an important piece of our online offering and p2p skill games provide enormous entertainment to players,” Salien said. His comments were backed up by GamArena MD Andrew Pegler, who told media he was excited that the firm had won the contract of a “premium brand.”
