Steve Brennan is appointed to Gambling Supervision Commission
The appointment of Steve Brennan as director of the Gambling Supervision Commission has been made public. The Commission is located on the Isle of Man and which is the license authority for numerous renowned Internet gambling companies. Apparently, Brennan’s previous position was that of senior executive in the Division of Income Tax belonging to the department of government Treasury which supplies the island’s licensing bodies the necessary resources.
The responsibility of Brennan will encompass providing licenses and regulations to the entirety of Internet and land gambling operations, this also includes slot and amusement machines, betting and lottery and the casino situated on the island.
Consisting of one chairman and four members, the Gambling Supervision Commission is an incorporated body founded in 1962.
The Commission maintains the following chief regulatory features: maintaining an industry of gambling free of crime; protecting youth and the exposed to assure that the features provided by the license bearers are honest and that the participants are awarded the winnings which are due to them.
The Treasury on the Isle of Man proffers a devoted source to the Gambling Control Commission with a senior secretary and three inspectors of the Gambling Supervision who together have an accumulated experience of fifty years in gambling regulations and licensing subjects.
