Full Tilt Poker, Pokerstars and Absolute Poker Discontinue UltimateBet
The Instant eCheck money transfer solution offered by Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and Absolute Poker, UltimateBet, has been discontinued making it difficult for some players to put money into these operations. Attempts to cash checks from this financial solution provider have been met with N S F notices.
It is recommended that you contact your online poker site and request another payment method or verify that the check in question is not part of the Instant eCheck payment solutions.
Players should not attempt to cash any checks received recently from any of these online poker operators until this matter is resolved. Players could have to pay “insufficient funds” fees to their bank and banks could even suspend banking privileges to individuals trying to cash these checks.
eCheck is another entity altogether and is in no way associated with Instant eCheck.
An eCheck company spokesperson said “We only process for casinos and things are going very well. This is a customer service nightmare and is starting to costs us revenues and credibility.”
The eCheck option available at many online casinos is still readily available. Players of Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and Absolute Poker/UltimateBet must distinguish the difference between Instant eCheck and eCheck, to be sure their winnings will be processed. It was not known as to why the Instant eCheck deposit and payment solution has been discontinued from just these three major online poker sites.
The banking sector in the USA is very much in crisis mode which could account for this problem. Hopefully things will be settled quickly.
