All parties agree that network gaming, with games controlled and served from a central server, are the key to the future in gaming, allowing operators to make adjustments to the game with a few strokes on the keyboard, or clicks of the mouse.

For this reason all major developers of casino gaming software have been developing towards this type of games setup, and with a few land based casinos already well underway of switching over to an entirely server based gaming platform, things are shaping up, but it is not all clear sailing towards the future of gaming and gambling in general.

Due to the current economical problems casino gaming software manufacturers need to be flexible, tailor their products to the needs of their clients.

However, all parties agreed that server based gaming is the way to go, as it brings benefits to all parties, where casino owners, have more and better control over the games, in terms of layout, design and its theme, and the players will have the advantage of connected games, delivering progressive jackpots, as is currently the case in modern slot machines, that function within a network.

Through a network like described a player would suddenly have the option to play multiple games simultaneously, which in turn also triples his or her chances to win. The obvious advantage for the casino operator would be the increase in wagers made by the players.

Overall, all parties involved agreed, that server based gaming, is the way to go, and though for a lot of casinos it may represent a hefty investment, ultimately it is well worth the investment, as the gains outweigh, the initial problems.
