Do you have any of your money deposited with On Demand Funds, the online e-cash service? If you do you better contact the company immediately. On Demand Funds announced this week that while they appreciate those who have been depositing funds with them online, they will be suspending their services as of the 18th of August, 2006.  

They also made the following information available to their clientele with regard to special dates of which they must be aware. August 11th at 3 PM Eastern Standard Time, which is a Friday, is the deadline for making online deposits.

August 18th at 3 PM Eastern Standard Time, which is also a Friday, is the last time that money withdrawals or transfers may be effected from an On Demand Funds account.

The most important thing to bear in mind is that all access to a member’s ODF account will cease as of August 18th at 3 PM Eastern Standard Time.

The management of On Demand Funds calls on their clientele and the public at large to speedily arrange for withdrawals or transfers from their accounts. They are being warned that if any of their money remains in their account  . In the event that you leave any balance in your account at when the deadline for withdrawals is reached, an attempt will be made to credit that money back to the client’s credit card or any bank account that may be recorded.
ODF clientele are advised to contact their vendor or to review the cashier page of the online merchant in order to decide on an alternative payment arrangement.
