Following a press release made this week by Mobile Gaming Solutions, it would seem as if Bowmans Holdings Ltd has a new owner. The online gambling firm has been purchased by Mobile Gaming Solutions following an agreement signed on August 10. The new owner, a technology company specialising in mobile service and interactive TV gaming, will announce further news of the deal once it has been finalised by shareholders in the coming weeks.
The deal was announced by Juha Kiikeri, Mobile Gaming Solutions' CEO. "We are very happy about this agreement," Kiikeri said. "Bowman Holdings is a recognised company in this industry. Both companies are set to benefit significantly from this transaction, and not just on the balance sheet. We anticipate that the combined wealth of experience will have a significant positive impact on both companies. Bowman Holdings operating as a licensed provider of online gaming solutions compliments our business profile perfectly, whilst at the same time we are able to position ourselves in the industry as an integrated 'One Stop Shop' provider for both online and mobile gaming solutions and to further develop our innovative gaming products. Further, the existing gaming operations of Bowman Holdings are a perfect real live testing environment for any new products that we develop."
Bowman Holding, with offices in Curacao, Mauritius and the Isle of Man provides services to South African and Asian online poker and casino operators. The purchase of the firm is expected to enable Mobile Gaming Solutions gain a foot in new geographical markets and distribution channels. The new owners intend to use both company's research and development units to play vital roles in the testing of new products. It is expected that revenues will reflect the new co-operation between the firms by early 2008.
