On August 15th -16th, a two-day poker extravaganza called Poker in the Park will be returning to Leicester Square in Central London.  This major poker consumer event is being sponsored mainly by PKR Poker who is working along with Bluff Magazine Europe for the presentation.

Included will be free poker tournaments with what the organizers expect to be a draw of 25,000 poker enthusiasts. Included also will be poker lectures by the best pro players in the UK, and a chance to purchase various poker books and merchandise. 

This event is being marketed as the largest consumer poker show in Europe. It is being produced in conjunction with Bluff Europe.

The event - Poker in the Park – is to be held in London’s Leicester Square Park, in the north and east quadrants. This year’s main sponsor is to be PKR, which will be hosting the Poker Dome, the location in which it is planned for poker players to battle it out in tournaments to be held hourly.

The Marketing Director of PKR, Simon Prodder, is reported as saying that London's Leicester Square represents one of the most well-known attractions in the world and that PKR is excited to be sponsoring such a unique poker festival in this unique location. He adds that his company sees this year's Poker in the Park as being even bigger and better than last year’s.  He also notes that the fact that participation is free, it will create an interesting experience for all sorts of people present in the heart of London.
