In one of the most creative marketing techniques in the online poker world to date, Celtic FC, the respected Scottish football club will soon launce its own online poker room on the Tribeca network. Celtic FC hopes to become the home for all football fans who are also poker players and especially of course to its own loyal followers.

Tribeka Tables is a young fast growing network of online poker rooms. Although the memebers of the Tribeka network all operate different websites, the games themselves take place on the same servers, which makes catering to different parts of the population while still maintaining a relatively high number of players a fairly easy task.

The new poker room called FCpokerroom opened its gates earlier this week Tribeca Tables Brand manager Bob Williams said, “We are very excited about the partnership. There are thousands of Celtic fans in virtually every corner of the globe and online poker is an excellent way to bring them together. The new Celtic poker room will provide an excellent arena for fans of all playing abilities to join together, enjoy a game and share their latest Celtic stories.”  He did not comment wether or not Glasgow Rangers are also welcomed into the poker room.

Tribeka plans to open other poker rooms based on the same network using branding of different UK football clubs. One of the goals at the end of the project is to hold poker tournaments between fans of the different football clubs.
