It was this week that the Web site and Pacific Net subsidiary, Guangdong Poly was initiated. The identity of the Web site uses the brand name Lot888.com and is designed to promote and to advertise and sell legal welfare lottery products to the gigantic Chinese gambling market.

China UnionPay is being used to accommodate sales whose integrated payment gateway is China’s only countrywide payment solution. China UnionPay already has has 1.3 billion cards in circulation, most of which are located in mainland China.

Guandong Poly is slated to collect a commission of approximately 7 percent for each sale of the online lottery products.

Tony Tong who serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Pacific Net says that the launching of this Web site represents a forward leaning step in the plan of PacificNet to take part in China’s quickly growing state-sponsored legalized gaming and electronic lottery operations.
